Haul: Victoria's Secret and MOR

Hello everybody!

What does one do when they're at Sydney airport? Go to Victoria's Secret. Yes, that is what I did because stupid Sydney, the snail of the Victoria's Secret trend only has one Victoria's Secret in Sydney at its at the freaking airport! (Just as a side-note, they don't even sell bras which sucks so much)

For the past few weeks, I've been seriously eyeing some fabulous VS hand-creams and body sprays, and they just happened to have exactly what I wanted so I had a bit of a BINGO moment and bought it because it's fabulous!

As well as popping into VS (Which is reviewed a bit later on in the post), I went through Myer in the city a few days after and saw a packet of these three hand-creams for a very snazzy deal and I just couldn't bypass it. I absolutely love MOR, they have some gorgeously smelling hand-creams, I cannot even tell you how amazing they smell. I bought this packet of three (Marshmallow, Belladonna and Lychee Flower). My favourite has to be either Belladonna or Marshmallow. I'm not particularly a lychee girl, they just seem a tad too sweet for me.

However, the actual hand-creams are superb! They moisturise and leave my hands smelling like dessert and heaven for at least five hours (which for hand-cream is pretty wicked!) The golden packaging is also a dead must-have as its just too cute and classy.

A product I've been using for yeeeaaarrss is Argan Moroccan Oil. It's possibly the most amazing hair-care product I can recommend, though if you're top-notch on hair products, you probably already have tried and know how fantastic Moroccan Oil is for your hair.

This one is a spray which I definitely prefer to the run-through-your-hair-oil-on-hand-sticky-fingers one, as it means I don't have to get my hands all oily. One would use it as a leave in conditioner thing as it improves strength and shine to one's hair which is all we need really. I love, love, love this so much.

I would recommend it to anyone with medium to dry hair.

Okay dokey, now onto the business of this lovely fragrance mist and lotion. I've had it for like five days and I'm so hooked on it, and so annoyed that VS doesn't have a store in the city where people can pop in on a weekend.

I bought the Pure Seduction because I love the scent of freesias. While girly and flirty, its still quite elegant and summery which I looove, and living in Australia where 5 weeks away from Summer, we're still having close-to-thirty degree weather, I don't think I'm going to need any wintery scents any time soon haha!

In terms of lotion quality, its not really a moisturiser, it leaves my skin smooth, but even so, it doesn't have a silky texture that I'd hoped it would have. That being said, it leaves a glorious smell on my body for 5-7 hours which is the best!

Hope this post inspired you a tad to go out and try some VS or MOR yourself.
Don't forget to drop a comment ;)

When You Wish Upon A Star (EASY DIY)

Hello everybody!

Because I am a teenager, and teenagers tend to go on a certain website for frequent and long intervals throughout their day and night (*cough* Tumblr *cough*), I came across a very cute little post...

...and I thought, why not try and recreate this in a little personalised DIY and post it on my blog? Thus, yesterday, I popped down to the local reject and art shops, and I bought all of my materials that I needed:

- 3 jars
- 2 packets of sprinklies.

As you can see, it is a very extensive list of materials (that's sarcasm there. Sorry, I'm not very good at it!) It's pretty self explanatory but I hope you enjoy!

(getting creative with layering here!!)

Hope you enjoyed and hope you give it a try! As I say, its so easy, and fun!
P.s. my computer was screwing up so it took me like five hours to do this so I hope you enjoyed it!

Lush, Lush, Lush

As you can probably tell, this post is going to feature my absolutely favourite shop of all time, Lush. I was actually supposed to do this post a while ago, but having things to do and being on an internship, I've been a tad busy to do anything relating to posting and music and whatnot.

P.s. I apologise for the lack of my own photos, I'm actually not at home at the moment, I'm in an office and being the unorganise little thing I am, I've forgotten to take my own photos which sucks because there's not as greater satisfaction towards using store photos rather than your own photos. I'll probably add in my own photos a bit later in the day when I get home.

This is amazing, I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love Rub Rub Rub.

1. It's blue. How many salt scrubs do you get that comes in an electric blue colour?
2. It smells divinely tropical and summery which takes me back to summer days (even though in Australia, it's currently wintery)
3. The scent lasts on me for a good 7-9 hours
4. It exfoliates just the right amount to leave my skin soft and moisturised
5. It's completely natural and bursting with minerals

My own criticism is that on the box, it said that one would be able to use this as a shampoo, so being the curious one I am, I tried this. It didn't really go as well as I'd planned, to be square. My hair ended up dry and brittle from the salt which isn't a very pleasant feeling, and the scent didn't exactly last in my hair for as long as I'd hoped.

To follow up with my blue tangent, I decided to try out the shower gel version of dirty, even though the jelly was very, very tempting haha.

1. It smells like mints which, personally, refreshes and proves perfect for an early morning, and really nice to wake up to.
2. It lasts for 4-5 hours in scent on me
3. It's blue.

What I didn't like was how the fresh minty scent didn't last throughout the day, unlike some other Lush products I've tried. Maybe I was expecting too much with this? I'm not sure.

I've been using American Cream for a while as a conditioner on my hair and I looove it!

1. It smells like vanilla
2. It leaves my hair light, but not fluffy (does that make sense?)
3. It leaves my hair shining without aid from other hair products
4. It lasts 4 or so days in scent which is amazing!

I didn't like the way that I impulsively use it so quickly so it all runs out!!

I've been using Rehab hand in hand with my American Cream above, and I love it as well!

1. It's organic
2. It restores the strength from damaged hair say if you use heat on it.
3. It leaves my hair soft and shiny

I didn't somewhat appeal to the scent of the kiwi and Papaya, it was a bit strange and overpowering for me, but having said that, I'm a 16 year old girl and I'm sort of more into really girly scents and vanilla hinted stuff, more like American Dream.

Sorry this post was supposed to be up yesterday! I've been so busy because I'm doing something super exciting this week which I hope to tell you about soon, though I don't have photos, I certainly have a story to tell.

Until next time, lovelies.

The Liebster Award!

Hello!

So, this afternoon, I was scrolling through my posts that I'd already done, because I'm a weirdo and I came across a rather interesting post that I drafted from about two or so months ago called the Liebster Award of which I was tagged by the lovely Lorraine from  Lola Loves Sparkles ages ago. I do apologise for not posting this for a while haha. I've been somewhat busy or just unable to do it, but here I am, posting it now for you so I hope you enjoy!!

In a nutshell, it's pretty much a way to promote smaller blogs (like mine) to other readers in the hopes of building up a readership which is very nice, so after being tagged, I thought I'd give it a crack, and then put it aside for three months, and then give it another crack!

So, here we go!

Rules:
1. You have to acknowledge your tagger
2. Once nominated, write 11 random facts about yourself
3. You must also answer the random 11 questions your tagger has set up for you
4. You need to come up with 11 other questions
5. You must tag 11 other bloggers and let them know, though you can't tag your tagger back :P

11 Raaaandom Things About Me:
1. I have itsy-bitsy tiny feet - size 4 :)
2. I play the banjo
3. I am a certified muso :D
4. I very strongly hate mangoes
5. I have a tea obsession
6. I'm quite young - 16 in July
7. I could live off of Frozen Yogurt
8. Even though we have traced back in family history, my nose is uniquely different to both biological parents and the DNA tracing after that (does that make sense?)
9. I love it when it rains...it's quite beautiful when you think about it
10. I write my own songs which I will (hopefully) post sometime on this blog
11. When I grow up, I want to go to the Northern Lights :)

Questions by Lorraine:
1. Do you prefer sweet or salty snacks?
Hmm...I used to be a real sweet-tooth and it was seriously bad. I was actually literally obsessed with eating sugar and chocolate (and when you're young, you have a high metabolism so you don't have to worry about those damn calories) and then one day, my dearest mother told me that diabetes ran in the family and I was naive and afraid and since I was about eight, I've gone onto saltiness.

2. What is your favourite book?
Harry Potter. No brainer there. Though, recently I've been reading this book called The Night Circus and it's so amazingly written (sophisticated, though, so it's not really a kids book) and they're making a movie but ...no...Harry Potter wins.

3. Where do you live?
I come from a land down under (whistles), can you hear, can you hear the thunder!? (If you are Australian too, you will know this...if not then its a bit of an in joke)

4. Long or short hair?
Medium ;)

5. What is the most embarrassing situation you were ever in?
When I liked Justin Bieber and actually went to his Australian concert where he was egged. Yeah, it's so far past "shame" on the embarrassed spectrum...

6. Have you ever wished you had a different name? If yes, what would it be?
I actually have thought about this! I think it would be amazing to be called Lennon like John Lennon (idol)

7. What is your favourite food ever?
Avocado and Vegemite on toast. I love it when non-Australian people try Vegemite and they layer it on so thickly and so it's disgusting. I'm going to let you on a tip here; step one: layer the toast with butter or something, step two: get your knife and put the smallest tiniest amount of vegemite on the toast, literally the smallest amount of Vegemite possible so that you practically can't even see the Vegemite on it.

8. Coffee or tea?
Coffee before 10, tea anytime of the day.

9. Your worst job ever?
Paper Route. That's all we'll say about that subject, then.

10. Do you believe in ghosts?
I think theres such thing as spirits.

11. Your favourite make-up brand?
MAC or Bobbi Brown.

My Questions for those who I tag!
1. What is your most awkward moment EVER?

2. If you had to invent a flavour of ice-cream, what would it be? (put your creative cap on!!)

3. If you were stuck on a tropical island for the rest of your life and you could only take one make-up product, what would it be?

4. If you had to be any Disney character, who would you be and why?

5. What is your secret obsession?

6. If you had an iPod with only 2GB of data (sorry, don't know if that's a lot or not) on it and could only have one genre of music to listen to, what would it be?

7. If you had to change something in this world, what would it be?

8. How did you and your best friend meet?

9. What is the cheeeesiest thing a guy can do for you on Valentine's Day?

10. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

11.  If you had to (hypothetically) live in one clothes shop for the rest of your life, what would it be?

2. Sanja from Sparkle with Laughter
